Introducing ClauseCheck: AI Contract Review Platform

Overview of ClauseCheck, an AI-assisted contract review platform that automates clause identification, risk flagging, and standard comparisons.

What Slows a Contract Review Down

Contract review is slow because the reading is unavoidable and the risk is unevenly distributed. Most clauses in most agreements are standard and can be skimmed; two or three carry the liability, and finding which two or three requires reading all of it. Legal teams do this against commercial deadlines set elsewhere.

That asymmetry is what an AI review product addresses, and stating it precisely is what separates a credible video from the ones general counsel have learned to distrust. The product does not decide; it narrows where a lawyer looks first. What belongs in the file rather than the frames is any suggestion of legal advice or guaranteed detection: accuracy claims, coverage percentages, and anything implying the tool replaces review will be tested by the buyer's own risk function.

The review is broken into seven scenes: one on the current first pass and where the hours go, two on clause identification and comparison against a standard position, one on how deviations are surfaced and ranked, one on what the lawyer sees and still decides, one on the audit trail a review leaves, and one on what a first playbook requires.

How to Explain an AI Legal Product to a Sceptical Buyer

General counsel are the least receptive audience in enterprise software and have the best reasons. The video works only if it is specific about the boundary between what the product finds and what a lawyer concludes, and if it makes that boundary sound like a design decision rather than a disclaimer.

Say what it does not do, in the first minute

Say what it does not do, in the first minute

It does not advise, approve, or sign. Establishing the limit early is what buys attention for the capability that follows.

Show the deviation, not the extraction

Pulling clauses out of a document is unremarkable now. Comparing one against the position the company has already agreed to is the useful step.

Make the playbook the real product

The value sits in the standard positions, which the customer has to define. Being honest that this is work, and showing how much, is more persuasive than implying it works out of the box.

Keep the lawyer in every scene

A product video in this category that shows an unattended workflow will be forwarded to risk with a note. Human review visible in each step is a commercial requirement.

Draw it from the product overview legal marketing already approved

Upload the product overview, the approved claims list from your legal marketing review, or the playbook setup guide. PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, and TXT are accepted to 200 MB. The draft edits scene by scene; the file itself is not modified.

Flag the Clause Before It Reaches Signature

The product overview legal marketing already approved carries the content already; adjust the draft before the next general counsel briefing.
